Try this trio of juice shots in the morning before breakfast, before every meal, or in conjunction with your next clean eating plan. Soon you’ll be feelin’ cool as a cucumber.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Servings: 2 sets of 3 shots

Strawberry Cucumber Ingredients:

1 cup strawberries

½ of a cucumber, with skin on

Grapefruit Mint Ingredients:

1 ruby red grapefruit, peeled.

a handful of fresh mint (about 1 oz)

Apple Ginger Ingredients:

1 apple

a small piece of fresh ginger root (about 1/2 inch)

Directions:

1. Rinse your fresh ingredients.

2. Cut the peel off grapefruit, leaving some white. Halve all larger fruits to fit your juicer.

3. Place a large cup under the spout to catch the juice, and begin juicing! Use a different cup for each set of ingredients.

4. Serve in your shot glasses, and refrigerate leftover juice shots. Juice will keep for up to 3 days. Keep in an airtight container--glass airtight containers are ideal.

Optional: Whisk in a dash of cayenne pepper, cinnamon, or a squeeze of fresh lime before serving for extra detox goodness. We love cinnamon with the apple ginger shot!
